Cultural Activities
Apart from Durga Puja & Pancha Kali , throught the year the members are entertained and witnessed by our various cultural programmes like Rabindra Nazrul Jayanti , Observation of National Days and Birth days of National Leaders,Poets , Writers, etc.
Moreover , Teachers Day, Childrens Day, Senior Citizens Day are also observed by the Members which is our special ornamental cul;rtural activities.

Established 1920 & Bengali 1327. The Oldest Public Durga Puja in Garia-Naktala Locality.
Venue-24, Baishnabghata Road , Kolkata-700047.
2016, being the present year , we are going to celebrate 96th year of our esteemed Durga Puja by maintaining the original eddict,customs & rituals.During five days of Puja , the stotrams of Goddess CHANDI along with Arati is done both at morning & evening .On the special day at Astami, near about thousand devotees offer Anjali towards Maa Durga and also special worship of Goddess Chandi is done at the end of Astami , called "Sandhi Puja".
During five days of Goddess Durga Puja , various cultural programmes, competetions etc. are performed by the dwellers on every evenings. As a whole, massive family gatherings with full of entertainments and taking foods & prasads from pediatric to zediatric takes place . 
On the last day i.e. on Dasami as per our Hindu rituals,thousands of married women offer sweets & sindur to Maa Durga , called as "Baran" with full of tears & sorrows , inviting Maa Durga to appear among us in the comming year.
lastly, a colourfull immersion processions of Maa Durga take place with Bands & other amenities & offer sweets to each other.

This  PANCHAKALI PUJA  is famous in Jadavpore-Tollygunge area due to the five different images with well ornamented,decorated pandal,enviourment,disicipline and various cultural programmes,like Dance,Recitation,Dance Drama and Drama by the members & lastly very attractive special cultural evening participated by famous artists of West Bengal.Respected Sri Ramkumar chattopadhay,DhirenBose,SwapanGupta,NirmalenduChattopadhay,UtpalenduChattopadhay,SaikatMitra,MeenaMukerjee,SrikantoAcharya,AmrikSing Arora,Lopamudra Mitra,Subhomita Banerjee,Utpal Fakhir, Sohoj Maa,Sanjay Chatterjee,Amit Kumar,Sraboni,Indranil Roy as singer ,Sri Partha Ghosh,Gouri Ghosh for recitation ,Sri Monoj Mitra & Debshankar Haldar for group theatre &Sri Chinmoy Cttopadhay,Rabi Ghosh,Loket Chattopadhay and Manali Dey for special stage appearence lastly famous music composer Mr Jay Sarkar & Netai Dey performed in our panchkali stage.Apart from  the puja and cultural programme every year respected maharaj of BHARAT SEBASROM SANGHA inagurated our protima and we usually handed over cjothes ,sarees & blankets & financial help within our capacitythrough BHARAT SEVASRAM SANGHA for the affected people due to natural calamities,also many honourable guest  likeSri Sukumar Samajpati,hon'ble ministers likeSRI KSHITI GOSWAMI, SRI SOUGATA ROY, SRI AROOP BISWAS & SRI  PARTHA CHATTERJEE attended our puja with their valueable speech in a regular interval.
